General Info

Tucked away in the vibrant neighborhood of Meguro City, Nakameguro Terrace offers a refreshing take on the Italian restaurant experience in Japan. Located on the second floor of a modern building in Kamimeguro, this spot feels like a hidden gem the moment you step inside. The atmosphere immediately sets the tone-cozy yet trendy, with just the right touch of romantic charm that makes it ideal for both casual dinners and special evenings.

From the moment I browsed the menu, it was clear that Nakameguro Terrace focuses on simple, well-executed Italian classics. The アンガス牛のグリルステーキ (Angus beef grilled steak) stands out as a highlight dish. Cooked to perfection, the steak delivers a satisfying balance of tenderness and rich flavor. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back, especially when paired with a relaxed evening setting.

Equally impressive is the アラビアータ (Arrabiata). The pasta has a bold, slightly spicy kick that feels authentic without being overwhelming. It’s complemented nicely by the Classic Caesar Salad With its crisp greens and creamy dressing, adding a refreshing contrast to the stronger flavors on the table. These dishes together create a well-rounded dining experience that reflects thoughtful menu planning.

What truly enhances the experience here is the service style. The restaurant leans into a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your time. Whether you’re sipping on a carefully prepared coffee or sharing a meal with friends, the atmosphere feels both relaxed and polished. The option to use Rakuten Pay adds a modern convenience, which is always appreciated in a bustling city like Tokyo.

In terms of location, Nakameguro Terrace benefits from being situated in a lively yet slightly tucked-away area. It’s accessible without being overcrowded, which adds to its appeal. Reviews often highlight the balance between ambiance and food quality, and after visiting, it’s easy to see why.

Overall, this Italian restaurant blends comfort, flavor, and style seamlessly. The menu is focused yet satisfying, the setting is effortlessly inviting, and the overall experience feels genuine-like a place you’d recommend to someone without hesitation.

What customers say?

“ This magnificent hide away is just a stone throw away from Nakameguro station. Hidden in a side street, close to the west exit, it's surrounded by pachinko, an orange 100 yen store and other eateries. The casual elegant design and lightning is done very beautiful, staff is hospitable and attentive. Please note that this place adds a table charge of 550 yen per person and no otoshi with your beer or first alcoholic drink. The fancy beer glass is a stylish small version, so those who are thirsty better try something belse. Seating is available inside on tables and counters and outside ( front and back). Overall the design reminds me of the Cafe La Boheme chain. They do have a wine wall, so you might be able to drink your way through it with your best friends You are welcome ! ”

“ Not the worst place to stop off in NakaMeguro. Staff are nice but love their phones more than the customers . No signs in English or Japanese about the ¥500 yen service charge per person and no otōshi offered or given. Small glasses for nama Asahi but regular for highball. It’s a pretty place and has plenty of seating outside. ”

“ Nice place for lunch. The food is good but the timing of serving needs to improve. We were a party of two and one person received the food 15min before the other person. (Especially since one person had a salad it should not have been a problem.) The outside seats are nice. ”

“ Very kind staff. Went with my friend to have hot tea and some snacks. Good vibes. The olive assortment was delicious, and we enjoyed the cheese platter. I recommend the outdoor seating during the spring and autumn. The ambiance is nice. ”

“ We had Sunday lunch here - Gnocci, Quattro Formaggi, and Roast Pork. All of them were phenomenally good. We had three beers and the whole thing came to ¥5,000. We sat in their hidden terrace at the back. Very clean toilets, and the service was absolutely fine. I’d recommend this place and will be going back. ”
